My Journey

 
  • 2007:

    • I had just started doing IB Studio Art as a certificate course; I was always creative and into anything artistic

    • I got introduced to a girl at a reception dinner who studied Landscape Architecture, which inspired me to study the same in university

  • 2009:

    • Graduated from High School with 6 IB level certificates

    • Got accepted into American University of Beirut as a freshman, began taking necessary steps to get into the Landscape Architecture Major

  • 2010:

    • Accepted into Landscape Architecture Major at AUB, the first graduating class with this degree in the university’s history

  • 2014:

    • Graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering

    • Got a hired as a Junior Landscape Architect in a Landscape Consultancy Firm in Dubai, UAE

  • 2016:

    • Started exploring the idea of Masters Degrees in Landscape Architecture but did not feel any connection to the masters in the industry

  • 2017:

    • Signed up for 2 summer courses in Design in NYC and Barcelona hoping they would help me further my career in Landscape but instead was introduced to the world of CX/UX/UI. Decided to follow this new discovery and pursue a Masters Degree in this new industry of Design

    • Got accepted into the Masters in Customer Experience and Innovation at IE University- School of Human Science and Technology in Madrid, Spain.

  • 2018:

    • Graduated from IE University

    • Got a job at IE University as an Executive Coordinator in the Middle East and Africa Team in the International Development Department.

  • 2019:

    • After job at IE, took some time off for traveling, visiting family, and exploring my career options and what is next.

  • 2020:

    • Ready for the job hunt! Corona Virus happened. Got locked-down in Spain, waiting for this moment in history to pass.
