CREÁTICA challenge

MADRID, SPAIN

The challenge was to design a work space for a tech-centered NGO focused on fostering creativity for kids at risk of social exclusion which allows for multiple uses, from company meetings to workshops with kids. Working along side Enorme Studios, an architecture and design office based in Madrid, and Creática,a non-profit social entity that promotes learning processes so that all children and young people in vulnerable situations grow as creative thinkers. It was and A-Z project first involving ice-breakers to introduce the teams, a co-creations session filled with brainstorming, notes and a Lego Serious Play session. Moving on to finalizing the ideas and interior layouts, we set out to build everything from scratch to create the space. A truly fulfilling experience knowing that not only our ideas on paper came to life, but that the space would benefit kids.
